Fleming Initiative raises first £100m in the global fight against AMR

The Fleming Initiative, established by Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, is aiming to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) with additional funding and resources from LifeArc, Cepheid, and Optum. The initiative, which brings together researchers, policymakers, clinicians, and public and commercial partners, is preparing for a UNGA meeting in New York. AMR cases and deaths are increasing worldwide.
